Day 3 with AdvoCare!

Today starts the 3rd day of my 24 day AdvoCare Challenge.  Here are some of my thoughts so far.
Spark, truly the greatest drink EVER!!! I've been switching between the fruit punch and the orange flavor, both are delicious. One Spark packet to 8 ounces of water and I promise you it's better than 4 Starbucks double shots!! WITHOUT any jitters!!!  Even if you don't need to lose weight this drink is amazing!!  It's perfection for that afternoon slump. Truly amazing product!!

On to the Herbal Cleanse, thank HEAVENS this isn't a harsh cleanse!!  I'm not stuck at home! 100% gentle. The Herbal Cleanse packet goes into another 8 ounces of water. Mix. Drink. FAST!! Drink slow and it starts to thicken and for me.....well, no thanks. I don't have a problem chuggin' it, the taste is fine, I can't say it's a favorite.... but I am not doing an all over body shudder after I drink it.

HA!! Look at me!! It's not even 6:30 in the morning and I've had 16 ounces of water!  If you knew me in person you would know how AMAZING this next line is.... I have been drinking 1 gallon of water every DAY!! TWO DAYS in a ROW!!!  Normally? I'll drink 2 gallons of water in about a year and a half!! Seriously!! I am NOT a water drinker!!  Today, day 3 and I'm already well into my 3rd gallon!!

For breakfast and when I'm feeling really hungry I have a meal replacement shake. Chocolate of course! So delicious!!  The first night I was truly hungry and I added a shake and MAN OH MAN did that help!! Followed by grilled chicken. YUM!!  I'm eating more fresh foods too. Raw broccoli and carrots, salads. I'm staying away from breads, white rice and sauces.

Like I said that first day I was hungry, but I almost think it was more just my body getting use to the change of constantly eating. Eating when I watch TV. Eating when I am bored. Eating and eating and more eating. Now I'm being very mindful of whether or not I'm really hungry or just bored.

Day 2 I wasn't hungry.  I snacked on my broccoli, carrots and had my meal replacement shakes. Today, I'm getting ready to have my Meal Replacement shake and start my day ... look at that... another 8 ounces of water!!

  1. I love it. You're doing great, Connie! Just wait until Day 4 or 5....you'll have more energy and notice cravings for the bad stuff going away.

  3. That's wonderful! Congratulations on the water part. Not sure I would care for the Herbal Cleanse either. It would be like drinking a glass of Metamucil. ICK! Thanks for not sharing! LOL

  4. I drink a lot of water, and know important that is for digestive health. I think that the Spark drink really works and tastes good. Keep up the good work with your diet!

  7. I hate drinking water. I never have been able to drink it without gagging. Thank goodness for Crystal Light and Mio. There is probably ingredients in them that are bad for me, but I think just getting me to drink some water, is no small feat. Good luck with your goal, it sounds like you are doing great!

  13. I so need to diet but I just can seem to just do it. I've tried the drink thing before and failed terribly. I have quit drinking soda and started drinking just water so I'm getting there. Maybe if I stick to the drinking water then I will try this. It sounds like it's working so far for you. Keep it up your doing great~!
