Epica Turning Slicer Review

Epica Turning Slicer 2
Today's review is a helpful gadget!  Especially, this time of year, with all the baking!!  Not to mention being able to make dinners a snap!!

Epica Turning Slicer 1

We love scallop potatoes, but, I HATE slicing all those potatoes.  NOT anymore!!!!!  This is the easiest and FASTEST I've EVER had potatoes and onions ready to bake before!!

Epica Turning Slicer bladesLet me start from the beginning.  The Epica Turning Slicer is lightweight. But, super strong. There are suction cups on all four feet. (I wish they suctioned a little stronger, but that is my only complaint... )

The teeth and blades are SHARP!! These blades slice through potatoes and onions so easily with no pull or lag.  Seriously! Each potato and onion took less than a minute each.

The Turning Slicer is compact.  There are 3 different blades. One is on the slicer ready to use.  The other two, go into this handy little slot underneath.  LOVE that!! Compact!

I love that the slicer has teeth to hold the fruit or vegetable and above the blade is a circle blade (SUPER sharp too!)  It truly holds as you slice.

Fresh Veggies

So no more big kitchen knife and cutting board.

Potatoes and Onions cutPotato ringsPotatoes and Onions cut 2
Green Pepper
First, I made slices.  Then I did rings.  Ohhh rings were FUN!! Look at my pretty slices!!

Carrots
Once I got started I wanted to see what else I could make!  Carrot shreds for salads.  Onions!  Apples!! Green Onions!!
Onions and DH

Then the kids had fun with the long onion strings........... by kids I do mean the big kid... DH!!

Drying slicer
I can't believe how fast and easy clean up was!! Clean up SO SUPER easy!!!!!!!  Rinse and let dry.

The Epica is designed for both safety and convenience. Unlike a flat mandoline, it keeps your hands away from the blade, so there's no danger of getting cut while slicing. And for safe storage, the blades snap into the base. To keep it from sliding around during use, the Epica's suction cup feet anchor it to your work surface. Made of durable plastic with stainless steel blades, it's backed by a one-year warranty. Size: 12"L x 10"W x 6"H.

This would be a great gift for the cook in your life!!  Ahhhhh maybe your better just buy it to help make Holiday meals....... buying a household appliance for Christmas.... not a great idea!!
Check it out on Amazon.com

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

  1. I think I need to leave this on my list of things I would like, in a subtle place for my husband to find it. LOL Maybe just go out and buy it, wrap it up and put my name on it from him. That way I know I will get one. LOL
