Prayer Notebook App Review & Give AWAY!!

Prayer.  Some people pray everyday some people only  pray when there is a test in their future!!
I remember hearing my Grandma Preston say her rosary every night before bed. She would say a prayer for certain people she knew... some folks she didn't know.... some people were actually actors  from a soap opera she watched (she was convinced she was watching their REAL life!!)  Grandma never forgot anyone she was asked to pray for!!  EVER! My memory is not as great as Grandma's was! I have the best of intentions when I tell you that 'you will be in my prayers' but sometimes it just doesn't happen.  I don't intentionally forget, I just have a really bad memory!!

When I saw the Prayer Notebook app I jumped at the chance to review it.  I uploaded it to my iPad and went to work! When a friend told me her sons close friend had died I immediately clicked on the little red Prayer Icon and entered my prayer reminder. I don't forget to pray for that family that just lost their son.
When my daughter Lael got the stomach flu I added Emma and Eli to my prayers for an extra 'let the kids be good to their mommy' prayer.

This app is super easy to use.  I can quickly jot down a prayer note or request.
I can email and text to people in my contact list that I haven't forgotten them and I am praying for them.  I can tweet my prayer.
The Prayer Notebook can be set up with an alarm. This app makes sure you don't forget your promise. I have mine set up for Alice's nap time, when I get a little bit of quiet time to focus. You can schedule prayers for a specific day or time. You can set the alarm to remind you daily, weekly whatever prayer schedule you are striving for.
Prayer Notebook has several awesome options like marking your prayers answered. You can password protect your prayers.  You can put your prayers into categories, family, friends, missions, events. However you want to categorize them.
Since, so much bad news seems to seep into our daily lives, scheduling a prayer or mediation time seems like an excellent way to center yourself and to remind you of what's really important in life!

This is an amazing app for iPad and iPhone users.  Check out iTunes  The awesome people at Prayer Notebook are giving one very lucky Peanut Butter and Whine followers their own copy of the Prayer Notebook App.  Good luck!!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
